Everyone has memories of Mom or Grandma making them some Milk & Cookies. If you stop and think about it, it's probably the best thing you ever tasted in your life. Not just for the flavor...but for the love that was in it!
Call us nostalgic...but we wanted to do the same. Something tasty and special...made with a little bit of love!
The “XQ” in the name of this blends stands for “Extra Quality”. Again, the tobaccos that comprise this cigar are absolutely delectable. (Some would even say seductive.)
The chocolate is more chocolatey. The sugar is more sugary. The cream is creamier!
To say we’ve become totally obsessed with this blend would be an understatement! We literally had to lock these in a cabinet humidor in our aging room...and give our staff a key so we wouldn’t smoke through the entire production! (And a couple times we got caught with our “hand in the cookie jar”. Not gonna lie.)
It’s absolutely delectable and intensely decadent! (It’s unbelievable how sweet and creamy these tobaccos are!)
MILK & COOKIES ‘23 XQ is a full-bodied, medium-strength 6x46 skinny toro. Wrapper is a silky 9-year-aged Connecticut wrapper. Binder and filler tobaccos will remain a very closely guarded secret...But they are all 6-12 years aged!
First light, huge creamy flavors wash over the palate. Milk chocolate, heavy whipping cream, tanned leather, brown sugar, and butter follow with a blast of cedarwood. Finish is long and clean adding vanilla bean. Retrohale is warming with a woody, cinnamon burn.
As it progresses, Oreo cookie, white chocolate and candied macadamia nut emerge. The blend gets creamier and rounder with hints of clove and licorice being added to the mix. The flavor complexity is so amazing that it's hard to describe!
Halfway, caramel, cocoa, and white pepper develop. Slight hints of hazelnut are tasted on the finish. A maple sweetness lingers long on the finish. So delicious!
Last third, everything intensifies! The chocolate notes become more dominate. Big waves of sweet buttercream, bourbon vanilla, and coffee. Construction and burn are perfect all the way to the nub!
MILK & COOKIES ‘23 XQ is one of our personal favorite blends of all time! To us...it may be the perfect dessert-style cigar! This is definitely for the accomplished smoker who can appreciate a true "unicorn" level smoke!
