EZRA ZION TRADITIONAL BOUTIQUE INAUGURAL EDITION

We are going back to the roots of the boutique cigar genre.

Every now and again we like to reminisce about the early years in our cigar smoking journey—Before we ever ventured into cigar-making.

We remember when we first heard of Tatuaje and Pepin Garcia. We remember getting our hands on our first Viaje cigars. We reminisce about the very first time we lit up an Illusione. 

These were among the first boutiques we ever smoked—and for us they were an inspiration in our cigar journey that changed our lives forever. (Quite literally.)

So now we’ve decided to make a line of cigars called “TRADITIONAL BOUTIQUES” that are reminiscent of the original boutiques we smoked so many years ago.

Oh—and the best part is that we also decided to keep the PRICE as close to what is was so many years ago too!

You might be asking…So, is this a Limited Edition Release or a new core line?

Well it’s maybe a little of both. The TRADITIONAL BOUTIQUE line will kinda sit right in the middle between a small-batch release and a core line. It’s more limited than our core lines, but it’s a little more available than our limited releases. 

Pretty cool, right!?

Now, let me tell you about this INAUGURAL EDITION. We’ve been aging this blend for over a year and half. It’s just been sitting there in EZHQ just resting. 

EZRA ZION TRADITIONAL BOUTIQUE INAUGURAL EDITION is full-bodied, medium-strength 5x50 robusto. Wrapper is a gorgeous Corojo 99 leaf.  Binder/filler tobaccos are all Nicaraguan.

First light is incredible! Huge blasts of vanilla bean, and sugar cone and dark chocolate rush over the palate. Heavy whipping cream, aged leather, and red oak wood follow. Retrohale adds a warming cinnamon burn.

As it progresses, caramel, toffee, and white pepper appear. A nutty note that tastes like toasted cashew and almond emerges. Some might say it tastes kinda like Almond Roca.

Halfway through, fresh brewed coffee with cream, all-spice, and vanilla ice cream are tasted. Graham cracker pie crust, dried fruit, and maple wood. Amazing!

Flavors crescendo on the last third. Everything intensifies! Retrohale has a gorgeous cayenne pepper burn. More waves of nougat, vanilla bean, and walnut. Espresso beans and white chocolate emerge. It perfectly balances the complexity and sweetness of the other flavors.

Think of this like Picasso painting some legit Bob Ross landscapes. It’s retro. It’s old school. It’s nostalgic. It’s Cubanesque Ezra Zion!
